The Birth of Freedom in Sydney - Friday 31st March 2017

Free Software Sydney has a monthly gathering run by the Andri Effendi, for people who care about their digital freedoms, bringing together software developers, policy experts, activists, and computer users to learn skills, share accomplishments, and address challenges facing the free software movement.

Our events will feature activities for a wide range of ages and experience levels.

This month's theme is "The Birth of Freedom in Sydney".

Our group explores the historical roots of free software, including the Four Freedoms, copyleft through the GNU General Public License, and the rights to security and privacy.
